The former Conservative cabinet minister Norman Fowler recalled the good and bad times of a career as a minister serving Margaret Thatcher.
Now Lord Fowler, he remembered that the worst thing about the Cabinet was the public spending rounds each year and being attacked by the Treasury. He said it could be a "rough life" for a politician who was too sensitive.
