Normani x Male Reader

Request - Normani x male reader (implied smut). Reader is a music producer and a childhood friend to normani. While recording a new beat with normani for her new song in the studio at her house, they accidentally touch hands when grabbing the same beat and look into each other eyes and kissed each other. Then in the morning, after their sex, normani finally decided on what her lyrics and her song title will be…. Motivation!

When Normani opened the door and saw you, she hugged you very tight. You almost lost your balance and you're happy to see her. You have been away for weeks and she missed you so much. You did face time and text with her but it's not the same being around her.

“Y/n, I missed you so much,” Normani said.

“We did text every day,” You said.

“But you know it's not the same when we hang out. Let's get to work on the song” Normani said

“I’m ready,” You said.

You have been friends with her since you two were kids. You always supported her music career before she got famous. You went to her house to work on a new song, you are the producer. Half of her songs have your beats and she is always happy working with you.

You follow her into the house and head to the studio. You set up your laptop and she sits next to you, then you start to play different beats. After a few minutes of listening to beats, she picked a beat and tries to sing but she is getting stuck.

“What’s wrong?” You asked.

“I don't know. For the past few days I have been feeling stuck on this song I'm working on. I thought trying to sing with the best would change but I feel the same... Stuck” Normani said.

She walks out of the studio and sits down again. She showed you the song she is working on, it's not finished.

“Okay, let's try to get rid of the artist block. I think you are trying too hard to find the right words for the song. How do you usually write your other songs” You said.

“I find different inspirations for each song. I have been stuck for days which feels like weeks” Normani said.

“Maybe do something different to feel inspired,” You said.

“I will try” Normani sighed.

You start to distract her by changing the subject. You start to talk about something different and she went along with it. Then you and Normani ordered take-out food and started to eat it by the pool. You and Normani are making each other laugh by talking about when you two were just kids.

“I almost forgot about that. That double date was horrible” You giggled.

You went on a double date with Normani and her boyfriend at the time. You didn't have a good time with your girlfriend and she dumped you.

“I was surprised you weren't sad when she broke up with you,” Normani said.

“I wasn't really feeling her. Come to think of it, she owes me ten dollars for the extra popcorn and candies I had to buy for her” You said.

“It was a date” Normani giggled.

“Glad, that was a one-time date” You laughed.

You and Normani just kept eating and talking.

Later, you and Normani go back inside the studio. She is sitting closer to you and you start to play different beats. You and Normani touched the laptop at the same time, then you and Normani start to stare into each other’s eyes. You lean in and you kissed her.

Normani put her hand on your cheek and starts to kiss you. You put your hand on her thigh and she doesn't stop kissing you.

“I want you, Y/n,” Normani said.

You kissed her again. You follow her to the bedroom and you continue to kiss her. Then you and Normani start to get undressed and then get on the bed.

The next morning... Normani went to the studio and started to write the rest of the song. She is trying to use your laptop but there are many files, and she starts to click on random icons.

“What are you doing?” You asked.

“You scared me, Y/n. I'm trying to find the beats from last night but I can't find them” Normani said

“Because it's under your name, Normani’s music beats,” You said.

“Oh,” Normani said.

You sit next to her and start to close every thing that she opened. Then you opened the files for her then she showed that she finished writing the song.

“Wow, you actually finished the song. I thought it would have taken you longer to finish” You said.

“The song will be called ‘motivation’ it's because of you, Y/n” Normani said.

“Because of me?” You asked.

She nods and smiled.

“I have feelings for you and maybe we can take it to the next level,” Normani said.

“I like you too. Yeah, we can take it to the next level” You smiled.

“Maybe tonight?” Normani asked.

“I can't tonight. I have to work with another artist. Can I take you out tomorrow night?” You said.

“That sounds good to me,” Normani said.

She leans in and kissed you on the lips. Now, she starts to record the song in the booth. You are liking the song and you give her the thumbs up.

For the date, you take Normani to a fancy restaurant. The conversation is going well and she is having a good time.

“Did you see that everyone is liking the new song?” Normani said.

“Yeah, I have seen the good reviews online. I'm happy that everyone likes the song” You said.

You and Normani ordered dessert. She ordered the cake and she fed you a piece of cake.

Later, you and Normani leave the restaurant. You take a selfie with her

“Y/n, I want to keep the relationship a secret for a while,” Normani said.

“I don't mind doing that,” You said.

“Really?” Normani said.

“Yeah, I mean it. I don't mind keeping it private plus in the tabloids I saw I'm dating a famous actress, so I can't make my girlfriend jealous” You said and winked.

She starts to laugh and playfully smacked your chest.

“Dork” Normani giggled.

You smiled then you and Normani go play-bowling
