Noah, if you don't mind me asking, what are your abilities?

Hohkay. This’ll be easier for me to answer if I just explain it normally.

Noah actually has the potential to be much stronger than he looks, or than he allows himself to be. He has a strong connection to abilities powered by negative energy, as well as some perks from having determination. Growing up, he had to learn how to keep them in order and use them effectively, should he need to. He prefers to not pick fights and is actually more likely to run away, as long as his actions aren’t being pushed by his emotions in the situation.

You know how Nightmare can grow stronger through the negative energy of others? Yeah, Noah can do that too. I’m fairly certain that Nightmare uses that energy to teleport as well–that’s also how Noah can teleport.

Noah can actually pick up INSANE amounts of negative energy if he’s pushed to that point, and that would be a time where messing with him is really not the wisest thing to do. (In this situation, his red eye would go out, and black substance would start to partially cover him.) Fortunately, he’s not a big fan of fighting, as I said, especially with his negative energy powers, since they tend to make rash, emotion-based decisions even more likely.

Several months ago, I was trying to figure out a way to interpret Nightmare’s usage of his powers. I imagine that he can take in negative energy just by being there, but another idea I had was that he can quickly take in more energy through physical contact–putting his hand on someone’s forehead, per say, would be the fastest method, although it leaves the person disoriented and sometimes causes headaches for whatever reason. This is an old concept that I don’t usually think o implement into things anymore, but I thought… maybe this could work for Noah? Having only some of Nightmare’s powers, it would make sense that absorbing lots of negative energy would be more difficult, and he can push his limits by doing it intentionally.

I actually had a really funny idea for this concept, that Noah and Terri find themselves in a bad situation and Noah says something to get Terri angry (not at him though) on purpose just so he can absorb all the negative energy and become immediately stronger.

As for what his determination can do, it’s not as prominent as what negative energy can do for him (or to him, for that matter), but whatever you’ve seen determination do for Cross–you’ll probably see a very toned-down version of that working for Noah.
