The Epicenter
The Epicenter is the center of the city of Natacoast. It is located right near the border of Natacoast and Hasket.
The Epicenter consists of three main sections: The Core, Northern Owlside, and Southern Owlside. Residents of the Epicenter usually shorten it to Nowl and Sowl.

All imports and exports from Hasket has to come through The Epicenter, and are controlled by the government. Resources are distributed by the government, throughout The Epicenter, mostly to stores or distribution centers.
Because of the distance from The Core, where the government is based, to The Outskirts, much fewer resources are distributed there. Those that are typically non-perishable, things that can be reused, or things such as plants and livestock. For this same reason, the government has significantly less control in The Outskirts. Because of this, they want to keep as many people as possible in The Epicenter. Most people who run away to The Outskirts/The Shoreline are children, because they do not want to live in the dystopian environment. The Government tries to keep people from leaving to there, but cannot logistically hunt people down once they have made it there.

The Core:
The Core is where the government of Natacoast is based. Very few people live there, and instead it is largely offices and research facilities. Most people who work there live nearby in the Owlsides. The only people who live there are the highest figures in the government, and people who are considered to know ‘Too Much’ and might potentially share information. Those people are not allowed to leave The Core. Some of these people are the higher up scientists, who fully know the purpose of the research, and those who work to keep such information from the public.
The main focus of their research relates to The Archive, as a result of the incredible psychic powers contained within the physical manifestations of previous cycles. This power can only be harnessed by an Archive Keeper, and while the government is trying to find the Archive Keeper, there are too many people in Natacoast for them to be easy to find.
