The seismic retrofit of The Beat Museum is expensive and is required by the City and the landlord. Funds raised will allow the Museum to re-open in a space that will be current with building requirements.
Beyond that need is the opportunity to make the Museum an even greater North Beach attraction with a cafe and mezzanine.

Episode Six of “North Beach Now” spotlights The Beat Museum at 540 Broadway, which will soon undergo seismic renovation.

Episode Six premiered on December 1st, 2018. Available on iTunes, Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, SoundCloud, and Google Play Music.
