Today, I was a parent helper for Dylan’s class marine discovery excursion to Bondi Beach. I love helping out and volunteering at Dylan’s school and he’s still at an age where he happy to see me and wants me around. His friends also thought it was cool that I could help out and look after their group. I feel so grateful that we could just walk across the street from the school to the beach and learn some interesting stuff from the 2 marine biologists leading the excursion. I was really impressed that the kids noticed the empty plastic bottles that people discarded at the rock pools and they wanted to throw them out.
