The Northern Arrow was made up of sections from Cincinnati, St. Louis and Chicago. It operated during the summer months to bring tourists and cottage owners to northern Michigan resorts. Its destination was Mackinaw City. Although it once ran several times a week, by the mid-50's it was a weekend only train that was discontinued after the 1961 season.
