Guess who's back? That's right yuh boi Pytre
Below the Cerwyn Banner, under command of Lord Medger, one hundred & fifteen men loyal to the vassal house marched the Kingsroad North from Harrenhal. The Sack of Winterfell & death of two Stark boys by the hand of Ironborn had already begun to erode confidence in Robb Stark's leadership, though ever loyal to House Stark, Medger Cerwyn defied orders to hold Harrenhal in favor of bolstering the King of the North's forces at Winterfell.
With the wind at their back and speed in their favor, the small army reached Moat Cailin, where a dozen men spearheaded by Lord Cerwyn's son and heir, peeled away from the others. Should their home have fallen to the Ironborn as Winterfell had, taking them by surprise & with reinforcements from Bolton's men would be their only advantage.
The dark form of Castle Cerwyn, unmarred by siege or capture, abated Cley Cerwyn's fear that his family & their home had suffered the same fate. Merely a half day's ride South of Winterfell with clear supply routes via the White Knife, the seat of House Cerwyn held a strategic advantage for he who was in command of the North. Unbeknownst to Lord Medger or his son, the castle's unsullied condition stood testament to the brewing betrayal of the Starks by Roose Bolton than it did a lack of tactical prowess from an invading Ironborn or Lannister army.
Despite the undisturbed facade, Cley demanded that they remain cautious & the twelve horses stood their ground beyond the main bridge, allowing themselves the opportunity to retreat should it be required. No archers lined the battlements, no soldiers rushed them from the river bank but as they maintained their vantage point, the main gate began to rise.

@northernprxnce liked this post for a musing starter!
She looked up at the man that stood in front of her. She could tell he was getting irritated, but she didn’t care. Her dagger was out and she would defend herself if she needed to. Asta was always the determined one, even more so since she is alone now. She didn’t know exactly who this man was, but she couldn’t believe what he said. “I can’t believe you would judge me like that. My father didn’t raise me to be a quitter. In fact, my father didn’t raise me.”
for the make me choose meme, Meryll's mother or father??
Definitely Mother. While neither Mother or Father are particularly warm, Mother does take the time to occasionally remind us kids that she loves us (usually just after making some critical comment about our grammar or clothing choices).
"I feel this has been long over do but...", Pytre pauses pulling a necklace from the pocket inside his tunic. Clearing his throat he hands over the blood red jeweled necklace to her. "I got this for you... a token of my love."
Daenerys was mildly confused, not understanding what might be overdue between them, but she waited patiently as Pytre drew something from his pocket. He held it out to her and her gaze widened at the beautiful necklace. “Ptyre, I don’t know what to say, it’s gorgeous and I’ll treasure it.”

She’d been having a nice chat with the Kings guard, enjoying her time back at Winterfell from her time at Kings Landing in time for Pytre’s name day, something she had almost forgotten about it until she had arrived to Winterfell and a small sigh passed her lips as she took the goblet of wine.
“Of course, Your Grace. I wouldn’t miss it for the world” She replied as she took note of how Pytre lingered between her and the guard. “Have you enjoyed your name day thus far?” She asked as she sipped from her goblet.
