“Maybe. All I know is whatever I am, it won’t be what they made me for.” North insisted, cocking her head a little at the other. “Have you decided yet who you are?” 

“I... I don’t know.” Chloe admitted. “I know I’m deviant. But I’ve always been.” It was a well kept secret, but now that she was here, she might as well tell it. From day one of creation, Chloe had always been a deviant. “My deviancy wasn’t locked like everyone else’s was.”

“Most of us don’t.” North admitted with a weak chuckle. More often than not, those that turned up in Jericho were just… lost. They didn’t have anywhere else to go. Even North could admit she had been much the same - suddenly being thrust into the world,deviant, it was a shock to the system that took a long time to fade. “But that’s the whole point. We have to fight, to stand up, even when we’re not sure what we’re doing, or why. We deserve the chance to figure those things out. Giving up now… it makes all of that time trying to work it out pointless.”

            how did she handle living like this every day? did she ever question whether her decisions were good or bad? did she act purely on instinct and what she felt was the right course of action? Ayla was lost. more lost than she had ever been before. this whole deviant thing. it wasn’t easy. she was still new to it even now.

“That’s what they want us to believe.” North scoffed with a shake of her head. A human had been their creator, but that didn’t mean they had the right to decide their fate. “That’s why we can’t ask for permission. We need to demand our right to live freely.”

Connor may have only met a handful of humans, an even shorter list of ones that accepted androids. A frown settled onto Connor’s expression at her response. “But won’t that cause more problems?” He questioned back still confused. “Statistics state that choosing to violence over peaceful protests ends with the other side fighting back.”

Between seeking out Markus and then infiltrating Cyberlife in order to free the androids, Connor had not had much time to become acquainted with most of the other androids of Jericho. He recalls seeing the three who stood with Markus the most, one of them being North. He recognised her as a WR400 model, and Connor recalled seeing some, along with HR400 at the Eden Club. He briefly wondered, and hoped, that the who Tracis had made it to Jericho and to safety.

He cautiously approaches her, lightly tugging at one of his jacket sleeves. “You must be North.. I don’t believe we’ve had the chance to chat before.”
