The Witching Hour...
Continued from here-
The stranger smiled under his hood. His assumption was right in the money about bartering and trading with her. As someone who lived in the woods, he doubted she would really need money all that much. Exotic goods however, that is something she would need. To that end, he brought an assortment of oddities to help break the ice.
His foot falls were light behind her, almost non-existent as he treaded very carefully. As they went, he opened up his cloak slightly, revealing the form underneath as well as his belongings underneath. He was humanoid, well toned and dark, but if one was more attentive, what appeared to be skin was actually a dark chitinous material that dully reflected what little light there was. On his hip was a utility belt of some kind, no doubt filled to the brim with doodads and knickknacks sure to intrigue, as well as a few more sinister items in case things go south.
The stranger lifted a few items from his pouch and presented them to her as they walked, "My first offer is a few rolls of firegrass. Good for a quick source of light, minus the burns that come from a traditional torch. I can also throw in a few pieces of bark from a Timberwolf. This living wood constantly tries to rebinding itself to form a full one no matter the size... They are a little dangerous. That is why I keep them in a bottle."
