5, 12, 31, 39, 54 for Nosebleed!

All these answers are pretty basic because she’s such a new OC, but! 5. What does your OC normally wear? What would your OC wear on a special night? After living in vault suits her entire life, Nosebleed’s been enjoying the freedom of wearing scanty raider armor that lets her feel the wind on her skin. Her go-to outfit on the road is the raider painspike armor, though the collider-bra leaves some funky-looking tan lines. For special occasions, though, her tunnel snakes jacket is her go-to. She doesn’t wear it much for fear of getting it ruined. 12. What is your OC’s relationship with his/her father? There was always a wedge between them, and that wedge grew into a chasm when James left her and Jonas behind. James wanted what he thought was best for her: a life of safety in Vault 101. Nosebleed was considered an outcast from the get-go, and had an inability to understand and get along with the people of the vault. Conformity to the strict social rules of the Vault was, in James’ eyes, very important, and as a result he wasn’t always in her corner. Following the rules and staying out of trouble was more important than allowing her to feel comfortable and confident in herself. When he left and the Overseer’s reaction was violent, Nosebleed thought that it had been some kind of misunderstanding - maybe something in James’ escape had gone wrong, maybe he didn’t have the time to bring her with him, or to save Jonas. But when she finally listened to the holotape he’d left her, hearing his voice tell her with full confidence that “she would be safe in the vault,” Nosebleed realized that this man really wasn’t as smart as he thought he was. In her eyes, from then on until the moment he died, she saw him as a selfish idiot. She can never forgive him. 31. What is your OC’s opinion of school?  What kind of student was s/he? School in the vault was just another kind of job, as far as Nosebleed could tell. There were arbitrary rules and arbitrary tasks. Successfully following those rules and completing those tasks meant that you were a good and productive member of the vault. Failure to comply was morally reprehensible, and would result in punishment and ostracization. She was a fairly good student because the rules were simple to understand and follow, even if they didn’t really mean anything. Mr. Brotch was one of the few people in the vault who treated her with anything resembling respect, because she did a good job at completing tasks and following instructions. 39. How does your OC handle anger? Anger was discouraged while she was growing up. Anger caused disruption, which would earn ire from the other members of the vault, even after the angry outburst was finished. James encouraged Nosebleed to bottle her anger, and for most of her life she tried her best. In the Capitol Wasteland, violent outbursts are just part of everyday life, and don’t have the same weighty social consequences that they do in the Vault. Given everything that’s happened to her, Nosebleed doesn’t anger so quickly, but when she does she indulges in it. She’ll raise her voice, she’ll push and shove, and it burns so hot she doesn’t know what to do with herself, but part of her kind of enjoys it.  54. Does your OC think with his/her head or heart? She thinks that she runs on logic rather than emotion, but the reality is that she justifies what she feels so much that she thinks they’re objective facts. She gets it from her dad.
