The Sound of Silence
I was watching Old School today and I thought this depressing classic by S+G would have been the perfect song to play whilst shaving. But I went with the usual Disney music instead. I did hit shuffle on the iPod, but it just worked. I think this was the order:
“Belle”- Beauty and the Beast. Not even ashamed to have this song. I wish I had 20 people in my house singing it with me because I find it hard to sing every damn part!
“I Just Can’t Wait To Be King”- Not even going to say the title of the movie.
This is where things got a little weird, because this song freaks me out TO THIS DAY. It was “Heffalumps And Woozles”- Winnie the Pooh. If that song doesn’t freak you out, I don’t know what will.
Anyways, I thought it would be good to share the fact that I listen to Disney music whenever I shave/shower (and when I am home alone).
Back to my original point though: The Simon and Garfunkel song would have been way better, because when I shave after a month I tend to look like I child (and that makes me sad). I honestly thought I looked close to what I was like at grade 9 grad.
Regardless, I’d like to thank those of you who have supported Noshember over the last two Novembers. It has always meant a lot to me, and it meant even more this year. That being said, I am already signed up for the MS Bike Ride (Leduc to Camrose). It takes place in mid-June and I am going to start sending a lot of annoying emails to my family to beg for sponsorship. Our team name is subject to change, but for now we will go with Coastbusters.
