Since I love to share old art, I’ll make Saturdays and Sundays #NostalgiaWiken , where I’ll pick some old thing I drew way back and share it with you! 🎨 Today’s entry doubly celebrates 20 years of Disneys Tarzan! So that means I made this drawing 20YEARSAGOHOLYFUCKIMSOOLD 😭 When Tarzan came out I was OBSESSED. I loved animation, skater culture, anime, jungle settings and of course: hot muscley shirtless dudes and Tarzan was everything I ever dreamed of. (WINK 😉) This movie inspired me to follow my animation dreams, and in my obsession of collecting every single piece of art, I formally discovered GLEN KEANE and I learned that messy sketches were alright! (Remember that back then, those poor souls like me who had no internet access couldn’t find art as easily. All my art inspo came from random stuff that I would collect; like Tarzan chocolate wrappers or the CD booklet!) Anyways; if you read this far... this was a school assignment that I suggested to my art teacher, where we made a mockup animation cel. Back then I had this story featuring Rougee about she being a jungle raised girl or some bullshit (it was an excuse to draw horny shit honestly 😆), so I drew this as I was inspired by the Tarzan trailers. Imagine my surprise when I actually saw the movie and there was an actual baboon chase scene that had the same energy of my drawing!! Nobody believes me that one tho 😆 Great minds think alike! #radrangy #disney #tarzan #disneystarzan https://www.instagram.com/p/BzCCQHXBuWp/?igshid=162z58l0aqvfv
