i noticed that you one made a post on six flags mall right ? my dad sent me some pictures the other day, and it's being demolished. pretty sad, if i do say so myself.

I didn’t realize that it was being demolished! Seems like someone buys the property every few years, thinking that they’re going to do something with it, and then they just...don’t...and it winds up getting sold again. From a logical standpoint, it makes sense for the mall to be demolished; that’s a HUGE building on a HUGE lot that’s just gathering dust at this point.
Still...David, my best friend (and the guy who’s in some of those pictures), has told me on more than one occasion that the mall was really spectacular back in the 90s. It really is kinda sad, then, that the place has fallen by the wayside so badly. My childhood mall is apparently still up and running, but there’s a tiny part of me that gets nervous every time I look up information about it or consider going there ever again. What if I discover someday that it has suffered a similar fate?
