rock mod update: the rock remains
hey guys! rock blog mod here. just wanted to update y'all because you were so kind about me and my boyfriend struggles, and i want to keep you in the loop. my boyfriend is currently living at a shelter because i had to move into a new place with a roommate, but he is getting help with job searches and medical stuff so im really happy for him. i'm currently looking for a job and taking a break from college to get my life together, but living in a college town makes it very difficult to find work especially because i cant drive and my bike got stolen yesterday. im in a little bit of debt because of it, but as soon as i get a job im going to start to work that off and hopefully get back to normality.
Because of all this, im giving myself time away from the internet to try and sort out my physical life and hopefully gain some stability and savings before i can manage other things again. i want to stress: the rock is NOT GOING AWAY. i will still be posting the daily rock as much as i can remember to queue it. its still one of my favorite things and I love reading every ask and note i get, yes i read EVERY ONE OF THEM, even if i don't have the energy to post responses, because people taking time out of their day to interact with my silly blog means the world to me. when i am stable, ill go back to posting responses, updating the "child of the rock" section, and a bunch of other stuff ive promised.
I started this blog as a kid in high school, i still remember queuing it 5 minutes before it was going to be posted in my first period class because i completely forgot to do it the night before, i remember Halloween in my freshman dorm sharing my rocks with you all (my collection has grown, my roommate is a fossil hunter so Prepare for my return >:) now i turn 21 in less than a month, and my life has changed so much and things have gotten so much better and worse at the same time; but the rock is still there, still the same rock, still the same watermarks, still the same weird space between the bracket and the image id. It will never change, because I know we all need that consistency in our lives, i may go though cycles where i forget to queue, but the rock will ALWAYS come back. i have deals made with friends to update the blog if i ever die, too. As for now, take care of yourself, drink some water and or a tasty drinkie, send a meme to a friend, oh and google bearded vultures if you want to see a REALLY cool bird.
