In 1997, a rogue wave knocked 62 containers off the Tokio Express off Cornwall. One container spilled almost five million Lego pieces, including plastic seaweed, flippers, scuba tanks, octopuses, dragons, and other sea-themed parts. Some of those pieces still wash up on Cornwall beaches today.
