It's a story about a ghost, forever shunned for his hideous appearance. A talented young singer, entangled in his spell, and the dashing hero that loves her, earning him and all his rival's jealous wrath. It's only unfortunate that two strangers, a believer and a skeptic, find themselves transported to the past and crossing the line of fire. A dangerous game has been set into motion. The question is: who will survive without being engulfed by the flames.

Shane returns from the Crusades to find his father murdered and his lands seized by Prince John, brother of the king. The people of England are slowly being bled dry by the prince’s greed and cruelty. Armed with a vow for vengeance, a sword, and a bow, Shane enters into a new crusade: to help the commoners and hurt the prince’s treasury as much as possible in the process.

Ryan, Shane’s childhood friend and fellow aristocrat, has been taken in by Prince John as an advisor and the Sheriff’s right-hand man. For the past several years, he has used his position to the best of his ability to influence the prince and sheriff in order to help the people, stopping multiple executions. When a hooded outlaw and his band step over the line and push the prince and sheriff too far, Ryan knows nothing he says will spare the people anymore. He leaves, disguised in the dead of night… and is robbed by someone with a very familiar voice.

*I really don’t know how I feel about this moodboard. On one hand I don’t like it, but I don’t hate it either. This is to @en-sam-malas and the enthusiasm they had for this AU that made me so inspired to do more, so thank you again and you keep being awesome, and I hope to have this written as a new story next year!

Beauty and the Beast

Shane is a demon whose family and other dark entities have ruled this unnamed town and Dark Forest for many years with an iron fist and chaos. To appease the Dark Lord and it’s court, the villagers select a young boy and girl to be sacrificed to them once every year to survive. Unfortunately, Jake is chosen as the new sacrificial lamb for that year; however, Ryan saves his brother and takes his place instead. Ryan also has another reason to do this as his mother had been selected and killed by Shane’s father when Ryan was a child, as well as free his home.

On the night he is to die, Ryan starts a fight with Shane; however, Shane doesn’t kill Ryan, and he is kept alive and lives in his court. As Ryan dwells in the castle searching for a way to free his homeland, he and Shane find themselves drawn to each other and realize they may be more alike. Ryan becomes torn between his mission and the man he was never supposed to fall in love with.
