I saw ur post ab Rhaenyra and pronunciation and then I saw that ur Aussie (so am I) and I’ve always pronounced ASOIAF names differently than the show/other fans and I was wondering if that was just me or aussies in general. for example the show says: deh-neir-iss or de-nair-ess; I say da-NAIR-eez. and the show tends to say Cer-say but I say Cer-see. and I say Ay-gone instead of EGG-on and RAY-neez instead of Ray-nyss. idk if it’s just me tho lmao? also you’ve got me hooked on petyrxsansa lol 💗

aaayy Australian!! and I think it’s true, we just have a certain way of saying things! 

I say da-nair-ezz, cer-see and ay-gone because I will NOT say egg-on, I REBUKE IT!! I think lots of the characters on the show say the names this way as well and tbh I think peter dinklage, who can’t help being an american trying to do a british accent, butchers the names the most. He says sansa like son-zah….unacceptable.

Aira, not Aria

This mistake has been done a few times, but now it’s happened three times in a day and I admit, I’m usually not this picky about something like this, but I can feel it’s starting to annoy me a bit x’D

It’s Aira, not Aria. I before r and it ends and starts with an a! xD

Don’t feel bad if you’ve made this mistake, you’re not the only one, but I would love it if people tried to make sure they’ve written my name properly. Especially since it’s the Japanese version of my real name, which is a rare one. So people pronouncing or spelling it wrong is something I’m used to, but that doesn’t mean it can’t bug me from time to time x’D

Other than Aria? Jenna! The way Jenna looks at herself in the mirror after she swats the fly. Does her body movement bear any resemblance to those of Black Widow when she reveals the burnt mask? I wonder if Jenna could be Black Widow...
