Meet Rocco, a very bright African grey parrot living in the UK who has taken “asking for a treat” to a whole new level. Using his impressive ability to mimic human speech, Rocco managed to place several snack orders through his owner’s Amazon Alexa.​

Why do people seem to think that asking for context or more information means you're trying to defend the person who is clearly in the wrong?

I'm in the middle of watching The Crash documentary and I have to say something...

Dom and Mackenzie got together when he was 16 and she was 13, right? Why is NO ONE talking about that? At that age group, 3 years is A LOT. That's disgusting. The fact that neither one of their parents are commenting on that is so concerning.

Not done with the documentary yet, but I'm appelled by the lack of comments on that.

Let me just quickly add this so there's no misunderstanding: I am not saying this means Dominic deserved what happened.

I think a lot of people who are complaining about the lack of content in Paralives are forgetting just how fucking bare bones the sims 4 was at launch.

Paralives has more content at early access than Sims 4 had at first launch, which was NOT early access.

As a former sims stan... the sims team should be very concerned. So far, Paralives seems to have made a list of complaints sims players have had for decades and decided to fix those within their game.

I'm so happy Paralives is as good, or even better, than I hoped. I can't recommend it enough.

Pros: An obvious choice since they are my most popular ship and I instinctively want to make them in Paralives. It would speed up exploration since I would have two paras to play with. Would also give the options to see how LGBTQIA+ friendly paralives is, how children will work, etc.

Cons: Since they would already have a romantic partner, I wouldn't get to show off or explore potential NPC romances with other paras.

An OC

Pros: All exploration options are, well, available to me. An OC wouldn't have any pre-existing "rules" I feel like I would have to follow, like their hobbies, job, etc.

Cons: As a completely new OC they won't really have any sentimental value for anyone and would feel pretty bare bones and potentially flat.

Myself

Pros: A clear idea of what the para will have to look like, their hobbies, interests and jobs.

Cons: Limited to what my own actual preferences would be so some options may not be explored for a while.
