I’m gonna be so real and true everyone, I got hit with the worst case of art block. I haven’t picked up a pencil to draw recreationally in a week.

This is the first comic I ever attempted, but I think as it stands, I am not in a place mentally or artistically enough to fulfill this story in this medium. Especially considering it is a 50/50 on if summer break kills my motivation or lets it flourish, and there’s no way I can make yall wait that long.

Having said that, I do NOT want to abandon eclipsedverse. So…

If I were to instead write this as a fanfiction, would you read it?

The ask blog format would have to be tweaked of course, but I would likely try and keep the essence of it, either by continuing to receive asks here, or by incorporating comments on the fic into the story.

Nothing is set in stone yet, this is more of a survey to see if people would be interested.

Btw apologies for the infrequent updates— I’ve seen yalls asks and have the responces, they just need to be drawn. An extracaricular has been puling me from class lately so my grades are tanking <////3

Not an ask, but !!!! In your ref sketch Shadow is so much shorter than SCU and SA2 Sonic!! :D I love that, it's very cute! And so is Sonic's little cheek squish, he looks so happy that Shadow is letting him hug him (this is set right after they had their bonding moment and had fun together destroying robots, so that seems very in character for both of them lol).

I'm so excited to see where this goes! It's very interesting and I know it's still really early into the story but I'm loving how everyone's being characterized. That intro goes so hard too btw, I was instantly hooked!

Thank you!! There’s only a select few Shadows that I think would be taller than their Sonic, and scu is 100% NOT one of them lmao. And yeah, I think their dynamic in that very short time frame is so interesting, especially with what comes before and after, so we’ll be exploring that for sure.

I’m happy you liked the intro!! This is my first time doing a comic of that size digitally so. Yay!!!
