Why I would probably die in horror films:

Imagine all the lights slowly turning off. You were playing pool with your Besty but you see the lights at the far end of the room slowly turning off. The darkness is closer. She wants to run, but you're flustered and think it's a fluke. Suddenly there's darkness everywhere, you're both hiding under the table. Your friend ditches her pool stick yet you cower but stand at the ready. Then you hear your nana calling. You remember: bitch has a master switch to turn off all the lights. Still run for it.
