Peaches got to go on a jog the other day with me! He had a good time even though he had to wear his rain coat. The running part of it was far more rewarding to him than food motivation or even his need to sniff. I am hoping to work more and more on his dog reactivity so that he can be my running buddy this summer (he does not have good enough recall for off leash yard fetch the way Angus does) as well as fix up his loose leash walking as it was before I last moved. He is a wonderful companion to my mom and I appreciate him a lot. I am glad this goblin found a home with my family(even if he was my huge rescue mistake and became my parents’ dog. I’m so greatful he is their dog and that they agreed to keep him when it became clear that I could not have him). Also he is sleeping next to me as I write.
