rewatched the backrooms movie today and i noticed a parallel between the rolling giant and cap’n clark where they both have opposite endings. For Julien, he is rembered after a long era of being forgotten and is freed from the valley view mall where he was previously trapped. With Cap’n Clark, however, he is actually free in his domain of the backrooms and when he is taken out, its stripping his freedom along with clark’s memory and impact on the world.

Being uncomfortable with certain themes in RP doesn’t necessarily apply to mature themes. Of course, there are mature themes I won’t touch. But this also applies to lore things and like...aspects of the MSQ. Not everyone is going to be okay with things, and that’s okay. There’s a ton of fish in the sea and if I or someone else isn’t comfortable writing something lore-related (like WoL stuff and other things that I don’t feel comfortable putting or forcing my character into), there are most likely others who are.
