rewatched the backrooms movie today and i noticed a parallel between the rolling giant and cap’n clark where they both have opposite endings. For Julien, he is rembered after a long era of being forgotten and is freed from the valley view mall where he was previously trapped. With Cap’n Clark, however, he is actually free in his domain of the backrooms and when he is taken out, its stripping his freedom along with clark’s memory and impact on the world.

some creative highlights from 2018 include, but art not limited to:

⭐️ trying to start a Frederick Drive comic even though i Hate doing comics (a yearly tradition)

⭐️ continued work on Frederick Drive, but this time as a book (AKA how it was Meant to be). I’ve seriously been working on Aliens on Frederick Drive since late January and I am STILL not done with the second draft 😭

⭐️ discovered that thumbnailing is a really fun way to plan stories

⭐️ the 100 OCs challenge (which took exactly one billion years but at least i finished it?)

⭐️ made an OBSCENE amount of new OCs. 160+ spread across a bunch of different stories
