I think what makes it worse is the fan response. Liking Kirishima? Fine! But trying to justify taking the moment away from Mina when he’s already gotten to shine so many times already? And justifying it by saying “oh, this will just be the start of an arc for Mina overcoming that hesitation and fear!” Like?! Have we read the same manga? What makes you think Horikoshi would ever make an onscreen arc for a non Deku/Todo/Bakugo character? And especially for Mina who now STILL has done nothing?

HONESTLY!! the scene wouldve been SO much better if it had mina be afraid but STILL manage to do it! rather then her basically doing nothing but accidentally providing kiri another vial thing. its just such bullshit and im never going to get over it :)

I can’t do it. I can’t read this manga anymore. Not for Mina. Not for anything. Six years of the female characters being teased for greatness, only to fail every single time and be saved or upstaged by the boys. I have no idea how this show can have such a strong female audience when the author clearly holds nothing but disdain for them. I have to drop this show, I can’t take it.

honestly, thats fair. literally the only reason i still read it is for this blog but like, the latest chapter made me really fucking mad and i havent wanted to go back to reread it for the mina caps, thats why i havent posted any yet so! idk! but anyways youre incredibly valid for not wanting to put up w bnhas shit
