#this is of course#not my lighthouse#but it was a lighthouse new to me!#my photos#lighthouse blogging#i really was struck by how CLOSE it was to the water#it was fucking ON IT#which you do not see that often with land lights this close to the ocean#because erosion lol#also the memorial to the keepers#absolutely beautiful#i can see why it gets so much attention#i just wish it hadn't been 40 mph winds#cause i would have liked to beach comb
