Today, a 22 year old woman died because she had an abortion at an illegal clinic. Now, two kids will grow up without a mother. Yet most of the senators will probably vote against decriminalizing abortion on Wednesday.

This makes me wonder, do they REALLY care about "saving lives"? About saving "kids"?(although fetuses are not babies and they are definitely not kids. They are just fetuses ffs!) If they do care, why don't they adopt the teenagers that are BEGGING to be adopted because they will be 18 soon and they'll be all alone in the world? Why don't they go help all the kids who are starving in the poorer parts of our country? Why don't they actually DO SOMETHING instead of just talking about how much we need to "save lives"? Or, MAYBE, they just don't really care about those "babies". They just want us, people with uterus, to give birth, even when we don't want to. Most of the people who don't want this law to be passed are cis men. Guess what? They will never have to have an abortion bc they don't have a freaking uterus!! This law doesn't affect them AT ALL. So why go against it? How many men have abandoned their kids without paying even child support? Isn't that the male version of having an abortion? Yet that's not illegal (or, at least, they won't go to jail for it). It's not even something that society criticizes! Women don't have that luxury. If we have an abortion, we are shamed, we recieve violent messages. If we die having an abortion, some people will be happy. If we don't die but we get injured and we need medical attention at a proper hospital, some nurses will make sure that we suffer as much as we can.

Yes, it's a men's world, but I'm confident that it will change. If it doesn't happen on Wednesday, it will happen in a couple of years. The sad part is that, in the meantime, thousands of people will die and no lives will be saved.

I finished watching black mirror's bandersnatch in like 3½ hours. It's an interactive episodes where you can choose the storyline and it's stressing me out.
