You're following Magia Record? Say what you want about the swimsuits but my girl Kyoko is having a great time. (Dont like how Ophelia looks though)

Yeah, I picked it up during it’s first week, though I’ve basically just done the dailies for the last year. No hate on Kyoko, and that swimsuit is very her, it’s a good suit design, better than all the other’s I’ve seen her in from official art. It’s just that, I just don’t? Get? The need for the swimsuit variant playable characters?

It’s just weird to me that they’re like, yeah, you can buy the swimsuit costumes for the other four girls that appear in this mini-event story, but this one is her own character? The swimsuit versions are like the Haregi versions. They’re just. Playable skin swaps? I don’t play other gachas so maybe this is the norm but more than anything it’s just playing favorites in a super weird way for me?

But swimsuit Ophelia is made up of eye-searing colors and I know doppels are too cool to not be extra dramatic in their designs but please. Please my eyes. Her riding a turtle is giving me a weird Urashima Taro vibe, and congrats to KyoSaya shippers for swimsuit Kyoko’s attack
