I need a screenless way to bring references to work so I can draw during downtime, if I ordered one of your reference packs on Kofi, would it be okay to print the pictures off and staple/spiral bind them so I can bring them to work?
Hey Nonnie! For personal use this is totally okay to do, provided you are not reselling them/making multiple copies to distribute. I print out references all the time because I draw traditionally. I totally understand why you'd want to do this! If you want to save yourself some time and effort, this is exactly what my pose decks are meant to be used for. They come on a single ring but the ring can be opened and the cards can be taken out, if you want. I currently have High & Low Perspective deck, portrait deck, and facial expressions deck available. There's also the 2 books, Handy Hands and Fancy Feet, but that's less about poses and more about hands and feet. Lastly, I haven't announced it officially yet, but I'll be putting together a couples poses book that I'll be crowdfunding in October. If that's something that interests you (or anyone else reading this), you can follow along now to get notified when it launches.
Seems like dA doesn't allow viewing more than 10 artworks at a time without logging in now. Is the complete gallery available anywhere else?
REALLY?! 😡 They are THE WORST UGH. I have been working hard trying to accelerate the movement of over 3000 images from DA to my gallery at AdorkaStock.com including all the tagging, descriptions, and categorization. I think I've done maybe MAYBE 15% so far. I am also occasionally removing images from DA once I know for sure they are up in my gallery so over time there will be less and less images on DA as the long transition continues.
I am REALLY super hoping this year is the year I will get it ALL moved. DA will be left open but mostly with just marketing/promotional stuff in place to redirect people to my shop and site. Just last month I hired someone to help me with the backlog so I think for now maybe all I can do is ask for your patience. 🥹💕
