As much as i prefer Buffy as a show , Angel absolutely had the better friend group and relationship between characters
my real found family bring them back to me 💔
Each combination of the Angel characters feels equally close to each other in a way the scoobies didn’t, particularly those outside of the ‘core four’ (and even then i argue that Giles strayed from Xander and Willow early as s4/5)
Tara and Anya for example were never folded into the group the way Fred and Gunn were , i can’t even name a time we see Xander and Tara together
