very long update. [warning:many words]

Hey... So.   [WARNING:MANY WORDS AND MAY KILL YOUR EYES] A lot had been going on these few days.  And... Feeling down is especially a big part of it.

I had been working at a gift shop... and idk... Something feels missing. (:

We just had our CJ open house on the 23rd of December and it was a blast heh!><

Before the open house and finishing up painting while Alton and the OvD boys were testing out the sound system.

Those were the last few pics from CJ Open House December 2012.  I still feel a little awkward with most of them... And can you believe it? The most unlikely person to be maknae is me. And I'm MAKNAE.  Because of all these lingering awkward tensions and feelings, I want to get closer to them... I want to know them, I want them to at least fit me in a little although I'm new. Let's be patient. One day, girl, one day.

Then the following day was Christmas Eve. Normally during Christmas Day itself, our family and I don't normally meet. It was Christmas Eve that brought us together every year without failure. This year was no different from the rest. Just that this year me and my sister grew to be part of the teenage group, breaking away from the children group I used to be in.

There's been a lot going as I stated. And the biggest problem going on this few MONTHS... Is my family. My aunt and dearest cousin Kieran moved to Indonesia in the past year, around March or something I forgot. But my grandfather that was living with her had to move. My aunt in the opposite block could not take him in because of the income she was receiving. And even if my family wanted to take him in and we COULD, we didn't. Because my grandmother was living with us. The one big problem in our family is that my grandmother hates my grandfather and they canNOT live together. My 3rd aunty's house was too small to even accommodate stay-overs. The only choice now was my uncle. They were a perfect choice. Had enough rooms, not too crowded, enough income [at least to support themselves]. He moved in. 

Then problems started arising. My grandfather is a gambler. He spends and never wins. But he never changes. He is just addicted. He once said. to my aunt: 'Give me $50 for my medical fees. I'm going today' Did he go? NO. My aunt had checked with the clinic and there was no record of him. As expected, he went gambling. All gone. Wow. And then another time he asked again, 'Give me $50 to see the doc' My aunty didn't trust him and requested to follow him. He said, never mind don't wanna see the doc already. Gambler's instinct? -.- Okay so you guys know he's a heavy gambler. And you see, in life money isn't so easy. 

So here comes the complicated situation. Granddaddy likes to gamble. Aunty hates money flying away. After my grandfather moved in to my uncle's house. He had been smoking. Yes, he's also a heavy smoker. And rude and unreasonable, that's how he is. He had requested for money. $50 I think. She said NO. Oops, mistake. He went crazy telling her that owh, he was her father-in-law. She must give him allowance blah. Threw a plate to the floor, cut her feet. Yay. Now the police have arrived. She went for a medical checkup and the injury was enough to sue him. Please don't. Just think of your husband. He's trapped in between YOU and his FATHER. BIOLOGICAL father. He's the one that is suffering and all. Okay, so this is not the only case with my unreasonable aunty. [Sorry if I had been describing my grandfather so badly... that's how he is, but the whole point is with my aunty] 

You know how Buddhists believe that father's side of ancestors shouldn't be mixed with mother's side of ancestors? Like... My father's grandparents' alters are placed in my house, so my mum's grandparents' alters are left in my aunt's house. I can understand the paternal side of the family with us cause the rest of my dad's family are in NZ and Malaysia. But it's a different story for my mum's side. My mum has all her family members here and we placed the alter in my uncle's house because... um.. because he's the only guy in the family? Okay. Recently my grandmother went to pray to her parents [my great grandparents] in my uncle's house. Hey... Guess what? It's raining while I type this post. Sets the mood. Sorry, back to the topic. My aunt was so unreasonable. My grandmother went to the 'deity'. They asked her to pray to her mother for family peace and 家里和平 something like that. But when she went back to pray to her mum, my aunt posted on facebook [something like that, not exact] : Come my house pray, now I know my house got an extra person. (and blah).

Everyone from my family saw the post and asked my mum to comment on it, saying that it was an order. She didn't reply no any thing, she 'unfriended' all of us on facebook. She's getting from bad to worse. Criticising my grandfather, complaining about our family, saying tired lah tired. Then... In the first place you know that our family is like that one, why enter the family without being prepped? You should be prepared for all these things to happen. Your father-in-law cannot stay in your house, then how come your brother can? PLEASE. And moreover that house is NOT under your name. It's under my grandmother and father's name. You are welcomed to move and everything. As long as you don't hurt anyone. The world doesn't OWE you. WE don't owe you. You entered our family, not vice versa. 

Sorry for ranting. But I just needed to vent out my anger. It's not my immediate family, yes. But it's my grandfather and grandmother afterall. Girl, you treat them like how you treat your biological parents. Karma will get to you. You are just utterly rude for disrespecting your elderlies. I'm just going to be standing here and see if everything solves by itself. But I won't be doing anything in case anything extra happens. 

I don't know if I should end this angry. HAISSS>.< Let's cool down for a while.
