hey have you seen all of the new parody accs being made?
I have not. I actually haven't been online for a while (life is getting to be a lot.) Feel free to submit them though.
I know what the sudden influx of followers on here is from.
hope whoever is running this blog is doing okay :)
I am doing great! Been super busy with college and stuff. Haven't had much time to check out the site.
Why aren't you postting?
I just haven't had the chance to get back online and screenshot stuff to queue.
Queue is empty, I'll fill it up soon.
We hit 100 followers! Hello all you beautiful beasts! Thanks for following.
In reference to your last post this one person added me and they were like 14-16 I don't really remember. They had their whole face on their profile plus they were posting publicly about really explicit sexual stuff and talking about it with other "teenagers". For one it was really uncomfortable and weird but it also seemed super dangerous and concerning. Like I think doing that could make someone more of a target for predators and groomers because they're apparently already comfortable discussing explicit personal stuff publicly with complete strangers online. And of course victims of that sort of thing are never to blame but internet safety is important. I'm around that age too and I got taught about staying safe online in school and it's concerning to see so many people my age and younger being kind of reckless online. I sent a message to them about why I thought what they were doing was kind of dangerous and they blocked me after that. From my experience adults can be a little paranoid about kids being on the internet (it's like my mom thinks everybody in the knitting discord server I'm in is there to creep on kids) but they do have some good advice and it's always better safe than sorry.
THIS IS SO TRUE! I can't victim blame because, well, I was also a kid on the internet talking to people I wasn't supposed to be talking to also, I get the mindset. Internet safety is really important! And even if someone you're talking to is telling the truth about one thing, you have no way to know if they're telling the truth about another. I'm not saying this to just bash kids online, but because I'm genuinely worried.
i use social media only to put my art all in one place and communicate with a friend. i also like being able to essentially shout into the void, i can post random thoughts and shitpost edits, and don't have to make it into a thing by purposely telling it to someone. and i would be involved in some fan spaces but there's a specific way you have to communicate if you want anyone to engage with you and it's tiring tbh
That makes sense! I understand why that would be a good reason to not really interact. Thanks for sharing!
