“S-snufkin..” He gulped “Will..I mean May I have the honor of this pance? I mean dance!” He sighed. Moomintroll had been standing in front of the mirror rehearsing his lines over and over for an hour now. Moominmama had once said practice makes perfect, yet somehow Moomin has a hard time believing that. This was definitely not gonna be easy.
He looked over the paper Joxter had given him, then at blue tulip across the table. According to the paper Joxter had given him, the blue tulip meant I respect and trust you, his plan was to give it to Snufkin to ask him, face to face if he wanted to dance. How was he suppose to ask him if he kept stuttering?! How was he suppose to tell him?
Where was the Moomintroll who saved Snorkmaiden from that pirate? Where was the Moomintroll who slayed that gigantic versus fly trap? Where was the Moomin who faced the Groke? Where was he now? How was it that he could do all of that yet he couldn’t be upfront with Snufkin about how he truly felt? He thought to himself pancing back and front across the room.
Maybe he shouldn’t do this, what for? The troll sighed and looked over at the table. In the corner of his eye, he spotted the flower. He walked over to the mirror once again.
Moomintroll didn’t know what was going to happen tomorrow, or what the future holds, but one thing for sure was that he wasn’t gonna give up. Moomin grabbed the flower, staring at it for a good while then taking a deep breath. He looked up at the mirror, starting once again.
“Snufkin..May I have this dance?”
