the irony of it is that this is my fav shoujo manga and heck I even ship Sho/Kyoko over Tsuruga/Kyoko and I’m rereading this for the 2039402th time lol

Just a slight PSA to my followers--no, I do not approve of Elio and Oliver's 17/24 age gap, and would have wished that they hadn't slept together. (I don't care if Italy's age of consent is 14, it's still problematic to me.) I know Elio's intelligence and such has placed him no lower than equals to Oliver, but Oliver should still have had the sense--or at least the self-awareness. Anyway--It's by FAR not the first time I've liked something problematic and I've loved Britin since forever ago and much worse manga. I just wish it was pointed out in the film, you know? I don't want it dismissed.
