Bittersweet news for y'all:

Brief backstory: back when I was around 15-16, I started using kinning to help with my self loathing and other various mental health issues, I hated myself through and through and thinking of myself as some of my favorite fictional characters helped with that, I utilized it as a tool for recovery and a tool to avoid further damage being done, I used it as escapism from a damaging environment, I used it to connect with people

I'm now 20, happily in love, out of that damaging environment, healthier physically and mentally, it's a coping mechanism that no longer suits me, even past the characters, past everything, I've grown to love myself, in short: I no longer use kinning, I no longer identify with the kin label, but I thank you all for all your support and company! I met some really cool people through it! My main blog is always open though! @its-laney-penn
