Roller coaster BP?????
I’ve been having hypertensive symptoms and climbing to 160/120 and then crashing down to 90/60 within minutes. It’s done this at least four or five times in the past day that I know of (by using the BP cuff while it was happening.. at first I thought the cuff was defective, my mother tested the cuff several times, and it seems to be constant when I’m asymptomatic). My heart rate is pretty much steady at 80. My sister an three other RNs she was having lunch with said that its okay for now as long as I don’t have chest pain. Has anyone ever had this / heard of this happening?
