I don't normally post about my real life but I feel strongly about this. This is what inbreeding looks like. This sweet girl is a double merle. That creates a muted merle pattern or no pattern at all. Most of the time these dogs end up with severe neurological problems. This girl is blind, deaf, and is a possible CH case. She came the shelter I volunteer at, brought in by a concerned citizen. A couple had been trying to sell her and her siblings outside of a chain supermarket but gave her away because of her deformities. Thankfully, the shelter has a contact with a rescue that specializes in Senior and disabled dogs so she was on her way to a place that will be able to give her a good life. Please, please, please think before you decide not to spay or neuter your pets. Because of selfish people this girl will have poor health and probably won't live to her full life expectancy.
