“Nah, I couldn’t possibly take one, Aunt Lissa. I can always make more for myself. Besides, I’m sure I’ll have extras left over after everything is done anyway. You share that with someone else here, I’ll be fine. Oh, and that’s a slice of chocolate pie with whipped cream next to the crust, and here’s an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. It’s a surprisingly good combination. Hope you enjoy!”

Jerry listens to Lissa’s story with brows raised. Surprised, and then not, and he giggles, “Her and her pegasus are... bit hard to get close to, yeah. Think she might not be so bad under all that sass, though.” He tucks away the background information, for now.

When they reach the booth, he’d nod at her words, about to reassure that he’s ok with one-at-a-time riding. But then Aversa mentions treats, and Jerry’s green eyes practically light up, “We can feed her, too? Could we? How much is it to feed Raven?”

“That’s a great idea!” Jerry beams at Lissa, “Let’s go pay a visit to Aversa. Have you met her before? She has cool pegasus. Got bucked off once, awhile ago.” He grins, proud of this fact for some reason.

Jerry winces, feeling as if he’s repeatedly asking all the wrong questions tonight. Maybe he should just avoid asking about family. “I see... understand that. Before me and my siblings started traveling, we had a bunch of traditions with our parents. But we don’t always get to visit them. ... Um, sorry to ask. Didn’t mean to upset.”

A lot of us travel, so we make a point of meeting up. Probably going to do that after this week, in fact.” He smiles at Lissa, “What about you? Any traditions?”
