Sarah had finally agreed on letting him see the book— on one small, simple condition. He had to read it with her. Holmes didn't mind all that much, of course, but he was so curious over that stupid little book that he would rather do it alone.
But nevertheless, she wasn't letting up, so he sighed, pulled a chair over to her and sat down. Holmes tried to take the book from her, but to no avail, she just pulled it closer to her body. He sighed again, making himself comfortable.
"Alright then, let's see what all this fuss is about. I'm expecting it to be really interesting, you know."
