A 2 years ago, me and my best friend wrote a Christmas song that reflected exactly how we were feeling at the time — and the empathy we had for those who were facing the season with nothing and no one. While the world was busy advertising perfect family moments, we wanted to give a voice to the people who didn’t have that, and whose December looked very different from the glossy picture.
