The Trivago girl has been misleading you. Oh no, say it isnt true!!!!! (Said with tongue planted firmly in cheek) Talk to a real person. Talk to your preferred travel agent who can generally get you the best prices on hotels at least 9 out of 10 times. The same goes for other aggregator sites such as "Skyscammer", "TripADvertisor" etc ...they are just algorithms masking as travel companies, they don't have access to all the information (or deals) and they dont have your best interest at heart. Talk to someone that takes the time to understand your wants and needs and wishes. Talk to someone who looks at your holiday from a holistic view and how the parts make up a complete, and seamless picture....not a series of adhoc purchases. Talk to someone who will be there before, during and after you trip if you need help. Talk to someone who is covered by Australian consumer laws and industry bodies like AFTA, and with ATAS accreditation...rather than hope that the company that you've sent your money to in Bulgaria is legit.
