scrolling through your blog and seeing you share a neurodivergence thing makes me want to share one. so I am.
so, I figured out that Im autistic around a year ago and after I told my mom she set me up with a therapist (I like him, he's chill, he lets me infodump). every now and then the parent that drove me there, usually my mom, joins in for like 5 minutes to talk with Matt(the therapist guy) about what they've noticed ig? anyways. one of the times that my dad drove me he like, outright said "you're not autistic, just screwed up in the head." (I dont really hold it against him bc he's on the older side and from what I know, probably didnt have the best childhood)
anyways, the funny thing is, after learning about my autism my older sister started like, studying my parents ig, cause she knew that autism can be hereditary. She later told me she thinks i got it from dad and after she gave me a few examples i was like "holy shit ur right-"
so yeah, I got autism from one of my parents, and it sure wasnt my mom
Oh my god that's so fucking funny my dad used to be the same way. Sometimes when we leave the house he'll round the block to make sure he locked the door or turned everything inside off.
