~NotAQueenBee: Okay, I should be in bed right now. I got class in the morning. Goodnight. Also 11 followers so far. Awesome! :D
The best part of the book was probably chapter 50, I agree with you. But beside the Warner parts (and it's so breathtaking to see him and Juliette bond as I've liked him from the first book) I really enjoyed the Kenji ones, he's like helping the reader take a break from the action and laugh at his teenage boy usual jokes, beside his actual intelligence. Dream cast? Sorry for writing too much.x
One of my favorites was the part where Juliette says "I've never seen him in sweatpants before" then Kenji goes all "I've bet you've seen him in less"
I actually said "Oooh damn" out loud during that exchange. It was probably the 2nd best Kenji-and-Juliette-talk-about-Warner moment.
Dream cast (wow it's been a while). I have a lot tho but I'll give my favorite per character
Warner- Hunter Parrish Kent- Zac Efron Juliette- Crystal Reed or Lyndsy Fonseca James- errrKenji- I forgot my fancast for him, but it was this really handsome japanese actor/model. Cry. Anderson- A friend suggested Aaron Eckhart and it's stuck in my head now Delalieu- old man???
I'm bad at this :/ Too lazy to check my list =u= sorry
What was your favorite scene from the book? :)
I had quite a lot, the infamous Chapter 55 included.
But to be honest? My favorite was chapter 50. That was the scene the broke everything inside of me because it showed how in pain Warner was. He was so vulnerable that I had to stop and close my eyes for 30 seconds. I think that was also the moment when Juliette finally found out that although Warner liked to keep his leader-type image all the time, everything that he worked for was all washed away every time he was with his mother. But when he found out that... it broke him. And I feel, too, that this was an unresolved topic in the book.
There's a special sort of bond children have with their mothers, no matter who it is. And for Warner, I suppose, his mother was his only string of hope ever since he was a kid--then Juliette came along and helped with that. His mother may have been insane and untouchable--hell, she doesn't even recognize him anymore--but he still tries to visit her, and that made me fall for Warner even more.
I really want a story about Leila though. About what happened. Her illness seemed like something that should've been explored on.
