Upon arrive McCoy slid into a locker room to swap his star fleet uniform for a lab jacket matching the nurses in the hospital. Once he felt he could blend in McCoy slipped out of the locker room and found himself anywhere he could be of use with the various injured crew members and people of Yorktown.
Rhee normally wouldn’t head to the hospital after getting into some minor injuries, but she’d been forced to swim through a lake after her pod had landed in the water. She had no idea what was in it, but it couldn’t have been good, especially considering how many gashes and scrapes she had. With her best friend’s boyfriend being a doctor and her crush but that was irrelevant, Rhee had heard plenty about the risks of not properly treating open wounds right away.
What she hadn’t expected was to see the aforementioned best friend’s boyfriend roaming the halls of the hospital. Normally she would hide to avoid a tongue-lashing, but Rhee couldn’t help but approach him and give him a tongue-lashing first.
“Doctor Leonard Horatio McCoy, what the hell are you doing!?” She blocked his path, hands on her hips and giving him a disapproving glare worthy of, well, him. “You just got out of possibly our most traumatic mission to date, and you are on your feet instead of getting medical attention yourself! I shouldn’t have to tell you that you cannot do your best work if you are tired, injured, or ill. Go and rest. We all need it.”
