🧩 I was today years old when I learned the horrifying origin of the "Asperger's" autism label. I have an almost 14 year old son and two young adult brothers with autism. Two -- my son and my oldest younger brother -- are high-functioning. They both have the "Asperger's" label slapped all over their medical documents and IEPs. I myself have used the label, and promoted its usage, because I didn't know. . Now I know. I am so sorry. Never again. Please spread the word. . That used to be one of my favourite songs by her and then I listened to that god damn thing and it RUINED IT I can’t listen to it without replacing the words

SAME when she sang it at the concert i went to i wanted to sing along but i could literally only remember the lyrics to the sweater version and i was so angry

I enjoy watching women's hockey even more than men's to be honest. It always feels like they play with more heart (and let's not forget that the women and men are equally talented)

Yes of course! Let's be honest there are some players that if they were men they would be in the NHL (e.g Kessel, Poulin, Carpenter, Knight, Decker, Spooner, Wick-in her early years, Schelling-can we talk about how amazing she is between the pipes?!, Szabados...) I don't know why there isn't a professional women's league for these players. And to think they all do it for the love of the game, they don't get paid millions of dollars to play. and I think a lot of people forget that.
