Ghosting: A cowardly act by a shallow person filled with insecurities and selfish tendencies (Not am official definition but how I define the act anyway)
Ghosting someone is the most damaging form of mental abuse by what the victim believes is a significant other. The victim is unaware anything is wrong and by bieng ghosted is left with an emptiness and self doubt that often leads to extreme low self esteem or self worth, confusion, and severe depression that could be avoided if the acting partner would break things off by communicating via face to face, thru text or phone calls or even an email stating that they are no longer interested in a relationship with you because... This allows the victim to have closure, evaluate the relationship in a healthy manner that can help them improve for the next relationship they find themselves in. It is cruel to ghost someone you have been in a real relationship for any significant amount of time, if they have been involved with family members or work or made mutual friends because now you have not only abandoned them you have to explain to these relatives and friends why you dont want them to know where you are and will end up fabricatong a scenario that this would be ok damaging the significant others reputation in the process. They do not get the benifit of the doubt amd are often left with the consequences of those scenarios you have made up to make yourself a victim and them the villain in some cases your fabrication may put them in danger if you told your family and friends this person is abusive or was inappropriate around your children a father or brother may seek vengeance and cause physical harm to the other person and end up with legal troubles. If you attempt to find the person for your own closure by semding emails and texts you could end up being labeled a stalker and the ghoster only comes out looking better and justified because of your attenpts.
