Akira

I have been a big fan of anime films & shows for years. Recently during quarantine, I got the chance to catch up on some classic anime films and one of those was Akira. The action sequences, storyline, characters, and the voice acting were all superb and not a single dull moment in the movie. The designs were all very creative. I was amazed at the details in animation especially with the limitations back then. The more I read about this, the more I understand how this film reimagined the cyberpunk genre and paved the way for other Japanese cyberpunk anime series and various sci-fi related franchises.

Godzilla

My No.1 favorite movie monster of all time. I really loved the redesign of the 2014 Godzilla which stayed true to the original Japanese version but with a more realistic look. Thought of coloring it initially, but in the end was satisfied with the outcome.

Ghost Rider

After watching the Robbie Reyes version of Ghost Rider in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, read few issues of the comic book. Hope he returns soon from whatever dimension he fell into (Dr.Strange might know). Sketch based on the comic art.
