note to future partner, 200210 23:18, small town IE. i do not have a preference for either the right or left side of the bed, i simply like to sleep on the side closest to the door.

i do not intend to flee but rather want to minimise the risk of disturbing your sleep in the occurrence i should need to move about the room.
