❛❛ you know I never actually expressed my gratitude towards having the death note. ❜❜ it’s a weird thing to bring up out of nowhere, but he’s always been comfortable enough to talk to her about anything. plus he figures if anyone were to understand where he’s coming from it would be her, besides the fact she another holder, she complete gets him in every way ( and if she doesn’t she at least still has a smile on her face. )
he chuckles a bit before holding his book closer to his chest, to his heart. ❛❛ maybe I developed a bit of a god complex because of it––– ❜❜ but doesn’t he deserve to play god for a bit? ❛❛ ...but because of the death note I finally have a bit of control over something. maybe it’s cruel to enjoy having power over people’s lives and to dictate their deaths but, I was thinking, maybe I deserve to have this... especially after having so little control over my own life because of my rotten luck. ❜❜
