It’s normal to poke the wound to see if it’s any less sore. You’ll be surprised the day it only aches instead of bleeding anew. It gets better. And I’m saying this after having an old wound reopened. Definitely stronger this time round. (((HUG)))

I suppose I'm coping better than I was. Back then I wasn't even functioning. Now it's just an ache that makes me feel like I need to fix something. I can't really explain it.
